Which Paris hotel near Louvre do I book?

Dear online friends. I have been a great lover of the arts ever since I can remember. Especially a lot of the Da Vinci stuff is really great for me. And since Dan Brown's book came out I thought I should go and visit the Louvre. I have some free time next weekend. Could you recommend me a hotel in the area please?

I could advise you to stay at the Baudelaire Opera from personal experience. It is a very special Three Star hotel full of character. It is around five minutes to walk to the Louvre so it is right where you want to be! Besides, the rooms are big, the staff is nice and I experienced it as an oasis of rest in my manic Paris trip.
