Which city in Alaska to go to for a holiday?

Hi! Id like to visit Alaska, but Im more or less urban girl. I really dont mind to spend hours hiking or cruising. What can you suggest to a city girl when she wants some city excitements. Where should I go and what are the best hot-spots in Alaska. Thanks for any help, itll mean great deal to me.
