Which season to book New York?

I will be spending some time in New York and work on my dissertation. My guess is that I will be there for at least six months and I guess I would like to know which season is the best for booking New York? I guess I need some nice time after all.

Well, I guess it is easy. Just skip winter and you will have more or less, nice time. And why not, even winter could be very nice and interesting in NYC. I have spent several days there around New Year’s Eve couple of years ago. I have to admit that it was one of the better things in my life (well I did meet my wife there!!!).
