Why Can't I book for the LV Hilton After Dec 30 2004

I have traveled several times to Vegas and I have always booked my stay via internet. But I always had problem with Hilton. Why couldnt I book for the LV Hilton after Dec 30 2004? Of course, there were many other hotels, and I always had a pleasant stay in this town, but what happened to Hilton?

I think the reason is quite simple. The hotel, entire complex has changed an owner. Colony Resorts LVH Acquisitions, LLC own the Hilton now. I think they ordered for license to use Hilton name, which means HH members are still able to use gathered points. As for online booking, I have never had much luck with that, something was always bound to go wrong.
