Winter break in Arctic wildness- what do you think of that?

My husband and I are looking for an out of the ordinary holiday destination. The both of us have travelled a lot for our jobs, and there are not many parts of the world which we have not seen. We are now considering a winter break in the Arctic wildness. What do you think of that!?

I think that is a great idea! There are many interesting things to be seen on such trips, and perhaps you should use the opportunity to go on a cruise. You can choose between "traditional", luxury cruise ships, or former scientific ships which have now been adapted and can get closer to the Arctic circle.
