Your impressions from Hotel le Colombe in Timbuktu, Mali?

a couple of friends of mine and I have just got back from Timbuktu where we stayed for one week at the hotel you were talking about. I just can tell you that you shouldn't be expecting too much from this place, after all, it is in Mali. So, I wish you a pleasant stay. Have a great time!

I have stayed in Mali last summer with a couple of friends of mine and we had the most wonderful time there. We enjoyed ourself the most and we wanted to stay there more, but unfortunately, we had a place to catch. It is nothing that interesting, but I could say that it was much better than I thought it would be. The rooms were spacious enough, the service was ok and the staff was really polite, although everyone spoke in French which I found frustrating....
