can I bring in booze?

I am 19 and I would be having my firs cruise-though I had one cruising trip with my parents but I was too young than-and anyway I am going on this cruise with 4 of my friends and we thought it would be wise if we bring some booze in. it is just that we heard that drinks on Carnival are expensive and we are not willing paying that much for booze on ship so I wonder if I can bring in booze.

There are very strict rules regarding alcohol especially on such cruise lines such as Carnival and that means you wont be even allowed to drink no booze in bigger amounts while on board and not to mention bringing booze on ship. And trust drinking a lot on ship especially while at the sea is no wise idea at all-you may get so drunk to fall over the deck into the sea for such things happened few times on these cruises. Anyway if you decide to bring in booze you might get uncovered and your booze confiscated and you would get it back the last day of your cruise.
