can you stay at Kings Canyon National Park?

My girlfriend never liked standard travels and destinations. It is not that she is some extreme type of person, but she was always more for the adventure than resting in some high rated, quality hotel. So, can you stay somewhere at Kings Canyon National Park? She intends for us to go there some weekend next month and I would like to know if there is some decent place to stay and spend the night or two.

Then I would think about Stony Creek Lodge. It is in Sequoia National Forest near the border with Sequoia National Park. It is available for visitors from May to October. Accommodations are in motel style. Rooms are for 2 persons and up. What is most impressive is the gigantic fireplace positioned in the lobby. Then again, my guess is that you would be spending more time in the surrounding forests that in the lodge.
