Does anyone know anything about ecotourism in Cambodia? In fact, I am not sure that there is anything like that there. I am very much interested in preservation of wild life around the world and seeing some really beautiful spots that haven’t been spoiled by the modern tourism. Any info?

Well, ecotourism in Cambodia is being developed in cooperation with local communities and government to promote conservation of wildlife. They are focusing on bird-watching at several sites like water bird colonies at Prek Toal, the floricans in Kompong Thom, the ibises at Tmatboey in the Northern Plains and the cranes at Ang Trapeang Thmor. All these sites are also within reach of the Angkor temples which are truly amazing.
