I have been thinking of taking a trip to Egypt this summer with a couple of friends of mine and we would like to know more about gays and their rights there. Is there a national association for LGBT people in Egypt? Can anyone help us on this? Thanks a lot in advance! bye

Hello,
I have been traveling to Egypt for the past several years with my boyfriends. It is absolutely impossible to be openly gay there although it is secretly accepted and in a way common thing. I think that there is no national Egyptian association for LGBT population and their rights are suppressed.
