travel alone in dubai

Hi people. I am going next month to dubai. Since my husband couldnt come with me Ill be all by myself. I am wondering if it is safe for woman. Should I dress some way special? Is there some part of the city that I have to avoid? Thanks in advance. Regards.

Hi to you. I was there last month and I can tell you that Dubai is perfectly safe. You can walk anywhere you want. But you have to know that it is quite hot in this time of year. You dont have to wear anything special, since the dress code isnt so strict in this country. But, my advice is, not to wear anything to short, because it is simply not decent. In Dubai are 85 of men, so that might be strange at first, but you will probably get used to that. All hotels are safe. I can recommend you Old Deira. Have a good time.
