why does CDG has the bad reputation?

I heard many bad stories about Charles De Gaulle airport recently. Why is that? What is wrong with this airport or is it not so bad after all? What with people waiting for hours, missing their planes and it being the fault of the airport organization I hope someone can give me some positive stories since I have to catch a connection from CDG no choice I am afraid.

Hi. Unfortunately I cant help you out with any positive stories about this airport. I have flown through there many times indeed, more times than I care to remember. And every single time I have had problems. This is the second busiest airport in Europe, yet they choose STAIRS to get people to the airplanes, instead of those walkways you see in most other airports. Its terrible!
