Hi. I am hoping to find out a bit more about Antarctic cruises. My wife and I are both biologists and are always delighted to be able to experience something new on our travels. This area fascinates us, and we would like to do one of the cruises. Which would be best if we want to get into some wildlife observation?

The company Blue Water Holidays runs a fleet of former scientific, icebreaker ships. These are the best of people like yourselves, I think, s the ships are equipped with all the possibilities for observing and researching the area. Also, the staff is very experienced in the matter and they will be able to tell you more about whatever it is that interests you, then any luxury ship crew ever could.

The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) is a national wildlife refuge in northeastern Alaska, United States. It consists of 19,286,482 acres (78,049.62 km2) in the Alaska North Slope region. [1] It is the largest National Wildlife Refuge in the country, slightly larger than the Yukon Delta National Wildlife Refuge. The refuge is administered from offices in Fairbanks.
